KEY ART

Key art was conceived and designed by the Academy marketing department, with BLT Communications putting the final touches on.

The art uses actual outtakes from our photoshoot with Jimmy Kimmel, with the center photo being the best choice.

The numbers next to each photo each have their own meaning. On the left, the number 226 represents the date of the previous years Oscars ceremony, February 26. On the right, the number 304 represents the date of the 90th Oscar ceremony. Finally, the number 90 in the middle represents our 90th anniversary

Jewel Tone Colors

We created four key colors to use throughout our campaign, in addition to black and gold, in order to separate the Oscars from other awards shows.

Nominations Announcement

Using a graphics packaged created by The NewBlank, I created the nominations graphics being shown behind Andy Serkis and Tiffany Haddish. I was also the typographer on the category vignettes, which were featured in Communication Arts Advertising Annual.
